I could not have been happier with Lana's help with the birth
of my son. Lana has a remarkably calm and soothing presence.
From the moment she arrived at our apartment in the middle of
the night when I was in labor, she immediately eased the pain
of my contractions with massage. I had no idea that her
technique could help so dramatically with pain management.
Lana made labor bearable, even in its late and extremely intense
stages. I had a wonderful birth, and it was completely drug-free,
which was something that I had hoped for but was not certain
would be possible. I had my doubts about having a doula assist
with the birth, but am so thankful that Lana was with me. I would
recommend her to anyone considering seeking a doula's
assistance with a birth.

I am very comfortable in recommending Lana as a doula to a
friend or anyone for that matter. Her calm and warmth are most
certainly some strengths she possesses. She was very informative
in preparing us for the birth and in helping us to know what to
expect. As far as her role at the birth, she was amazing. So
proactive. She comforted me so much and knew exactly how to
be, she was calming and respectul.Also she was a super support
to both my husband and I throughout the labor. My doctor also
loved her disposition and told us that she enjoyed working with
Lana so much. She goes above and beyond in how she works.
We are all so happy she was there for us at the birth and could
not imagine anyone else being there for us. She's a gem.

Lana attended our home birth and we truly couldn't have done it
without her. My labor was over 31 hours long with a posterior baby
and she was there virtually the whole time. Her presence was
calming and supportive to myself and my partner. Lana was very
knowledgable and knew many ways to enhance my labor and
create an environment that allowed our birth to be what it needed
to be. After my birth Lana was indispensable. Following the birth
Lana supported me in breast feeding from the very beginning by
ensuring we were latched on well and all settled in for the night.
A few days post-partum when I got thrush she had some excellent
resources for me to try, and in the next couple of weeks when it
was challenging and I called her crying, she helped me get support
and offered her help in any way she could - including going to the
doctor with me. To us, Lana was indispensable to our birth and
our post partum time as a family. We would more than recommend
Lana to anyone planning a birth and looking for support in the post
partum period.
